Too many notifications can drain your battery lifetime. The 8-hours interval ensures battery’s longevity with just enough notifications.
Yes, in fact, you can connect an unlimited number of sensors to the app giving a unique name to every additional sensor.
Normally the battery will last 3 to 6 months but it varies depending on the WiFi connection quality, notifications quantity etc.
If the WiFi signals are weak then the sensor will require more energy. It is advised to not use rechargeable or cheap batteries.
Your sensors are equipped with AAAA-batteries which you can either purchase from our web shop or you can buy them from a specialized battery store.
Unscrew the 4 screws present at the bottom of the sensor to remove the cover off it. After that, remove the motherboard to locate the batteries on the back.
No, you can also use our sensors to perfectly monitor your wine cellar/cabinet. Furthermore, our sensors are specialized to monitor the humidity and temperature of any room.
You will receive constant reminders through your LCDT App whenever your battery level is dropping to critical minimum. You can also constantly track the battery level of your sensor(s) in the App.

Our goal was to create a state-of-the-art Sensor to store your cigars in perfect conditions.
Dominique has been active in the “World of Habanos” since 2001 when she founded two “Plumes et Cigares” shops near Gent and in Knokke. In March 2009, Dominique obtained the title of Habanos Specialist in Cuba with distinction.
In 2016 she recevied the prestigious title of ‘Hombre del Habano’ in the category ‘Business’ during the 18th Habanos festival in Cuba. Because of her love for Habanos, new world cigars and related products she decided to take her ambition a couple of steps further and created the La Casa Del Tabaco Sensor, humidity and temperature tracker for cigar humidors.
